Cancellation policy

& Gift cards

Here at Nova Luna salon & spa, We strive to respect your time. We hope you do the same for us. As we understand life happens sometimes, we get sick, our kids get sick, we get called into work etc.

We do have a 24 hour cancellation policy in place. You will receive a confirmation text when you book & then a reminder text 48 Hours prior to your appointment.

 

Please DO NOT text the reminder text back as its a NO REPLY number. Please text or call 905-324-5995 to cancel, reschedule or let us know if you are running behind.

At your appointment you may be asked to sign a "Client intake form" with the following information included. You may also be asked to leave a credit card or visa/debit card on file. 

How it works

If you happen to be running behind to your appointment, please call and see if your service provider still has time to take you for your service. We have a 15 minute window, if you are not there by your appointment time we will give you 15 minutes and try to contact you. If we don't hear from you, your appointment will be marked as a no-show appointment.

 

If you cancel an appointment with less then 24 hours notice or No show your appointment:

1st offence- At the discretion of your service provider. They may waive the cancellation fee one time.

2nd offence- You will be asked to place a 50% non-refundable deposit to reschedule your appointment, this may be used towards your service day of. If you cancel in less then 24 hours, No-show your appointment again or re-schedule the appointment more than once, the 50% deposit will be forfeited and you will be asked to place another deposit to schedule.

3rd offence- You will be asked to place a 100% non-refundable deposit to reschedule your appointment, this may be used towards your service day of. If you cancel in less then 24 hours, No-show your appointment again or re-schedule the appointment more than once, the 100% deposit will be forfeited and you will be asked to place another deposit to schedule.

Some services will require a deposit to book the appointment time, this is generally for bigger services that require bigger time slots. This deposit will be non-refundable. It will be used towards your service day of, if the appointment is cancelled or no showed our above policies will fall into play. If the appointment is rescheduled more than once or cancelled entirely, the deposit will be forfeited and you will be asked to place another deposit to schedule.

Our time is valuable, as is yours. We have these policies in place so that other clients are not being put behind for their appointments, & to ensure our service providers can take home an income.

Gift cards

Nova Luna salon & spa does offer gift cards! If you want to spoil a special someone, you can purchase them in the shop.

​

Gift cards are final sale & are non-refundable.

Gift cards marked as Nova Luna salon & spa are only eligible to be used with Nova Luna staff (excludes our chair renters) Unless stated other wise.

​

Donation gift cards do have an expiry date on them & can only be used towards services. So make sure to use them before their time is up.
